District and General Elections May 2010

 

ELECTED

Councillors David Simmons and Brian Boggis were elected on May 6th 2010 to serve as District Councillors for Cokeham and Peverel wards.

Councillor Simmons said "I am looking forward to continuing my work on behalf of the people in Sompting to properly represent their views at both District and County Council. People can always call me if I can help in any way and they will get a response.

Councillor Simmons and Councillor Boggis wish to thank sincerely all of those people who had the confidence to vote for them on 6th May 2010. Brian said, "I will do my very best for the people of Peverel ward in particular and Adur in general and look forward to serving you for the next four years."

Disabled Access to the Beach at Shoreham

I am pleased to tell you that work to build disabled access has been included in the Adur Council capital programme commencing in April 2010.  This should be finally agreed at full council in March 2010
 
Urban Day May 2009 at Hamble Recreation Ground, Sompting
